What you'll make
A standalone product review page that loads fast, is structured for search engines, and includes the key elements search engines look for: a clear verdict, pros and cons, a rating and review schema markup. You'll have a page template you can reuse for any product.
What you need
- Cursor installed
- A product to review (real or for practice)
- Basic familiarity with editing HTML (you'll be directing Cursor, not writing it yourself)
- 45 minutes
Steps
- Open Cursor, create a new project folder, and ask for a review page with the right structure:
Build a product review page for [product name]. Include:
1. A hero section with the product name, a one-line verdict, and a star rating out of 5.
2. A "What it is" section — 2 paragraphs explaining the product.
3. A pros and cons section — two columns, 4 items each.
4. A "Who it's for" section — 3 bullet points.
5. A "The bottom line" section with a verdict paragraph.
6. A CTA button linking to the product.
Use HTML and Tailwind CSS via CDN. Make it mobile-responsive. Use schema.org Review markup in a JSON-LD script tag in the head — include the rating value, the review body and the author name "DigitalMoney.network".
Preview the page in your browser. Check that the star rating displays correctly and the pros/cons columns stack on mobile.
Add the review content. Tell Cursor:
Fill in the review with this content:
- Verdict: [your one-line verdict]
- Rating: [4 out of 5]
- What it is: [2 paragraphs]
- Pros: [list 4]
- Cons: [list 4]
- Who it's for: [list 3]
- Bottom line: [your verdict paragraph]
- Product link: [URL]
- Ask Cursor to add the JSON-LD structured data if it didn't include it properly:
Add a JSON-LD script tag in the head with this structure:
{
"@context": "https://schema.org",
"@type": "Review",
"itemReviewed": { "@type": "Product", "name": "[product name]" },
"reviewRating": { "@type": "Rating", "ratingValue": "[4]", "bestRating": "5" },
"author": { "@type": "Organization", "name": "DigitalMoney.network" },
"reviewBody": "[the bottom line paragraph]"
}
Test the structured data: paste your page URL into Google's Rich Results Test tool (search for "Rich Results Test"). It should detect the Review schema with no errors.
Deploy the page the same way as any static site — drag to Netlify Drop or push to GitHub.
Check your result
- The page loads fast (it's a single HTML file with Tailwind CDN)
- The Rich Results Test shows the Review schema is valid with no errors
- The page works on mobile (pros/cons stack, text is readable)
- The CTA button links to the correct product URL
If the Rich Results Test reports an error, it's usually a missing field — the rating value, the author, or the itemReviewed name. Ask Cursor to fix whichever field the tool flags.
