Clipping
Cut streams, podcasts and interviews into short vertical clips. Creators and brands pay for the views they get.
What it is
Clipping means cutting long videos (streams, podcasts, interviews) into short vertical clips and posting them to TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. Creators and brands pay clippers to spread their content, usually per thousand views through clipping campaigns, or through a monthly arrangement with one creator.
It’s quick to start, but pay follows views, so it’s uneven. Most clips get little reach and a few do most of the work. Campaign rules and rates change often, and each platform has its own policy on reposted content, so following the rules is part of the job.
